A wholly-owned subsidiary of Malaysia Airlines, Malaysia Airlines Cargo (MASkargo) is Malaysia’s premier and award-winning air cargo provider. MASkargo flies to over 100 destinations across 6 continents, and selected of prime cargo hubs in Europe and China.

What we did?

E-sales System: Platform: Windows Server Language: PHP4 Database: MySQL; Custom web application designed to enable MASkargo stations all over the globe to broadcast promotions and announcements via a simple web control panel. Broadcasts can be sent via the web/email/sms to any contact groups they specify.

Media Access System.: Platform: Windows Server Language: PHP4 Database: MySQL; A fully fledged application to enable MASkargo’s corporate department to publish their press releases or announcements on the website, and send them via email and sms to media contacts, partners, government agencies and cargo agents worldwide.

Firefly

Malaysia’s first community airline, Firefly flies to exclusive routes in Malaysia and Thailand from its hub in Penang, and offers affordable travel on three fast Fokker 50 aircrafts.

Internet Booking Engine: Platform: Linux Server Language: Perl; We provide customisation services for Firefly to integrate 3rd party booking engines to their website and extend its functionalities to match their requirements.

Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM)

One of the premier public universities in Malaysia, UPM started wit a focus on agriculture with three foundation faculties in 1971, but has since expanded its scope to include science and technology field of studies as well.

Research Development Management System (RDMS): Platform: Linux Language: PHP5 Database: MySQL, Oracle; We were approached by the client to create an online system for the university’s Research Management Centre (RMC) to monitor all research activities by their researchers. The system encompasses various modules, such as New Research (interface with Research Grants and Disbursements), Milestone (for accurate reporting on each stage of the research) and Research Reports at the completion of the research.

This enables RMC to have an at-a-glance look at the research activities of its researchers, as well as status reports on a periodical basis. With RDMS, RMC is able to optimise their research methodologies and practices to create a better academic research standard among its peers.

BERNAMA

Berita Nasional Malaysia (BERNAMA) is an authorised body set up by an Act of Parliament in 1967 and started work on 26 May 1968. It has branches in every state in Malaysia, and stations its correspondents in Jakarta and Singapore.

News Extraction System: Platform: Windows Server Language: PHP4, Borland C++ Database: MySQL; It consists of two main components, the news extractor and the web control panel for the administrator. The extractor is created based on Borland C++ and constantly listens to BERNAMA’s News Feeder server. Once it detects any news has been added to the server, it will automatically retrieves the data and forward it to a MySQL database server for storage. From here, the admin can access the data through a web application which runs on PHP. Admin can select which news to be added to their online news website.

Ministry of Finance Malaysia (MoF)

Malaysian government agency tasked with formulating the national fiscal and monetary policies, as well as financial management and accounting processes and monitor the financial performance of Ministry of Finance Incorporate companies, ministries, government departments and statutory bodies.

Malaysian Road Records Information System (MARRIS): Platform: Linux Language: PHP5 Database: Oracle; For the client, we created an Object-Oriented framework based on PHP5. This framework is created using Model-View-Controller approach, similar to Ruby on Rails. We choose PHP5 for its popularity in open source community and due to availability of custom packages created by developer around the world. This has enabled us to create the a whole new system from scratch within 4 months, wheres it would have taken 2 years if we had used normal methods.

We have also undertook the task of future-proofing the system, by converting it from ASP to PHP5. This ensures compatibility with popular web servers or databases, should the client decide to upgrade or port it to another web server or environment.

Takaful Malaysia

First Takaful Operator (Islamic Insurance) In Malaysia, offering a wide range of Islamic insurance products for personal, healthcare, education, corporate and other sectors.

3DSL - Payment Gateway: Platform: Linux Language: PHP4 Database: MySQL; For Takaful Nasional, we created a module for online transactions leveraging on Maybank’s payment gateway. It required the installation of the SSL module on the Apache web server. The software compares the data transfered form both ends (Maybank and Takaful Nasional), and validates it if they are identical. The software will trigger an error if the there are discrepancies on the data, and covers all credit card payments for Mastercard and VISA.
